botox-01‘A Softer Approach’

Wrinkles and frowns are due to hyperactive facial muscles around the eyes and forehead. These may give a person an angry, tired, or displeased appearance.  The Botulinum toxin temporarily relaxes these muscles and facial lines which then diminish or disappear. It is also used to prevent excessive perspiration (hyperhydrosis) of the underarms, palms of the hand and soles of the feet.

The cosmetic use of this product began in the early 1990's with specific use for wrinkle treatment of the upper face. It has now become the most popular and safe, non-surgical cosmetic procedure performed today.

By precisely injecting specific muscle groups of the face with small amounts of Botox, the wrinkles and creases will gently disappear. Common areas of treatment include folds and creases of the mid-brow, forehead and crow's feet; although it can be used in many other areas of the face including the neck.

The effects generally last 3-4 months but can last longer depending on the individual and the area treated.

These days a softer result with some facial movement is considered a better outcome rather than the ‘frightened rabbit in headlights’ look. ‘My aim is to create a more natural appearance whereby your friends will comment on your fresher look rather than a ‘treatment look’’.

By creating an individual blueprint of your face, results can be consistently reproduced in the future.
